polite staff ample charging points bedside charging noisy corridor banging doors sleepless nights
I found the reception staff smiling and polite. Waitresses were quick and polite too. The room had ample charging points at the side of the bed IT was a lovely touch. Mugs were in the room instead of cups.
I experienced noise in the corridor by the room I was in. My room was next to fire doors that kept banging on the first night. The wall was banged loudly in the middle of the night. I could hear people talking as they walked up and down the corridor

a nice stay
superior bed comfortable bed quick service complimentary mini bar
The room was great. I had a superior bed. It felt so soft. The bed was really comfortable. The staff was kind. I REALLY appreciated the quick service. The complimentary mini bar was a lovely treat.
The pillows were not AS comfortable. THEY were all the same type. I did expect more options.
Facilities

The pool area offered guests a wonderful chance for relaxation and recreation, with several loungers for sunbathing, alongside a dedicated shaded section for those seeking respite from the sun and it was very clean. The gym included three treadmills.

The restaurant catered well to vegans. Molly from the restaurant was particularly attentive. She fulfilled every request. Emma, the waitress, provided swift service. Her kindness.

There were beautiful walks available around the hotel. 'st wolfram's view' offered views over the surrounding area. It even looks over great gonerby and the town.

slow service cold plates
the breakfast offered a good choice, though nothing stood out as particularly special.
I found a couple of issues that detracted from my stay. the service in the lounge area was slow. It reminded me of i had to seek out staff to place an order. dinner in the main restaurant was disappointing as the food arrived lukewarm on cold plates, this.

attentive staff excellent service friendly staff dusty room leaking shower screen poor cleaning
The bar was vibrant. The staff were very attentive and they provided excellent service (I really appreciated their help). Ewelina deserves a special mention. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and she was very pleasant and friendly. The service from Vicky and Georgia in the Claret Jug was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were so friendly and helpful.
Our room was dusty. When I went to reception, they said they would send the cleaner back. The cleaner arrived and seemed unsure of where to clean, holding a single cloth and wearing headphones. The shower head did not stay in position other than straight down, and the shower screen leaked, causing a puddle on the floor around the toilet.
